Overview

Paul Junge worked in a family business focused on maintaining housing for military families — creating over 500 jobs and supporting working families. He knows first-hand how important small businesses are to employment and prosperity in our state.

Paul was a criminal prosecutor who worked in the domestic violence unit to protect battered women and abused children. He anchored the news at mid-Michigan’s Fox 47, gaining a deep understanding of the community he covered.

Most recently, Paul worked in the Trump administration at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to stop illegal immigration and secure our borders.

Paul is running for Congress to defend the values that make America strong. He will fight to help our families, promote freedom and opportunity, and secure our God-given rights spelled out in the Constitution.

Fair Trade, Fewer Regulations, Lower Taxes

Paul Junge will always insist that all trade agreements benefit American workers first. He will fight for Congress to incentivize companies to bring operations back to the U.S. and invest in states like Michigan which have been harmed by the jobs shipped overseas – and he won’t stop until it’s done. Paul will fight for fewer government regulations and lower taxes so businesses can invest in expansion and new technologies, and families can keep more of their hard-earned dollars.

Immigration

Secure the Border, Stop Illegal Drug Flow
Paul Junge was a President Trump appointee at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, where he proudly fought to enforce our immigration laws to keep our country safe. Paul will fight to secure the border, build the wall, stop the deadly flow of illegal drugs like fentanyl, which is claiming lives at a horrific pace, and crack down on the tragedy of human trafficking.

Energy

An All-Of-the-Above Approach
Paul Junge will fight for programs designed to protect the Great Lakes. Nationally, Paul supports an “all of the above” energy approach that includes more exploration, natural gas, nuclear, renewables, and safe pipelines like Line 5. Paul encourages private sector innovation toward renewable energy sources rather than government mandates resulting in higher taxes and job-killing regulations.

Foreign Policy

Defend American Lives, Support Israel
When Americans are attacked anywhere in the world, the U.S. must always respond to the threat. Further, America’s strong support for Israel reinforces our traditional bond and demonstrates that we stand with our freedom-loving allies. Paul will fight on the side of those who understand that terrorism can never be tolerated. America must always be a strong country ready to protect our interests, safeguard our people and stand up for our values. The U.S. military is the finest in the world and in Congress Paul will always work to make sure our men and women in uniform have the training and equipment they need to perform the well defined missions we ask them to undertake.

Agriculture

Supporting Michigan Farmers
Paul Junge understands that Michigan’s agriculture industry is large and diverse. He will work to open foreign markets to Michigan products, reduce the regulatory burden so farmers can focus on farming, support American energy to ensure affordable energy, and lower the tax burden to encourage expansion and investment.

Health Care

A Patient-Centered Approach
Paul Junge supports a patient-centered approach that focuses on the doctor-patient relationship and protecting those with pre-existing conditions. He supports improving efficiency through health savings accounts, combating lawsuit abuse, and allowing individuals and small businesses to join forces for better rates. Paul will fight for lower out-of-pocket costs by increasing the availability of generics, speeding up the FDA approval process, and providing greater price transparency.

As the son of a teacher, Paul Junge knows parental involvement is critical and wants educators to receive the support they deserve to teach the next generation of Americans. Paul will defend the rights of Michigan parents to educate their children as they see fit – in public, religious, private, or charter schools, or at home, opposes the woke agenda politicizing our schools, and strongly supports local control instead of dictates from Washington DC bureaucrats.
