Meet the Republican candidates running for Michigan’s 8th Congressional District

Midland Daily News

Three Republican candidates are in the running to represent Michigan’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives: Paul Junge, Mary Draves and Anthony Hudson.

The 8th Congressional District covers most of Genesee County, all of Saginaw and Bay counties and portions of Midland and Tuscola counties.

The district is currently represented by U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Flint), who announced last November that he would retire from the position at the end of his term. He has served in the U.S House of Representatives since 2012.
